Thanks for visiting my Website. My publisher told me to create it because I have led a very interesting life, and that it might encourage people to read my autobiography (Reflections on a Life, Well..Spent). It describes how:
- A highschool dropout went sailing to Tahiti on a schooner.
- Bamboozled his way through college, medical school and graduate school at MIT.
- Became a flight surgeon, flew F-100 jet aircraft and became the youngest Lt.Colonel in the Air Force during Vietnam.
- After that, spent many years doing brain research and won a bunch of awards, and collaborated with several Nobel Prize winners.
- Started Nashville's first High Tech Company.
- Sailed across the Pacific Ocean with Commodore Tompkins.
- Composed several symphonies and other works.
- Started a successful music software business.
- Became a practicing psychiatrist.
- Built a versatile respirator during the Covid epidemic.
- Figured out how to do interesting things during retirement (astrophysics, sculpture and chickens).
- Has things to say about the medical profession, raising kids (Russ Freeeman, the Rippingtons) and philosophical matters.
